Preschool Program: Ms. Jessie
My name is Jessica Daily and I am pleased to be the lead teacher in our full day Preschool program. I look forward to being apart of your child’s developmental growth.
Here is a little about myself; I have a husband Kris and two beautiful children Sadie and John, both attend Country Dawn. I was born and raised in Washington State. I enjoy spending time with my family and being out in the great Pacific Northwest. I started working at Country Dawn in 2015 in various classrooms ranging from Pre-Toddler to Preschool. My starting position was a closer and I worked my way to teacher’s assistant then to lead teacher. I have been a lead teacher since 2017, first in Pre-Preschool and then in Preschool. I dedicate myself to understanding my students and to knowing what they need to be successful. I enjoy getting to know what makes them who they are and learning how to help them grow socially, emotionally, mentally and physically.
Since I started working at Country Dawn I have completed 30 hours of the Washington STARS training program, learning child health, growth, development and guidance. I plan on continuing with my STARS classes and I have completed my Child Development Associate (CDA) program, at the Bellingham Technical College. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
I look forward to this year in Preschool, getting to know you and your child better.
Preschool Program: Ms. Eleana
My name is Eleana Evans and I will be your child’s preschool teacher this year. I am excited to help your child during their educational journey and see how much they learn and grow.
I am delighted to be a teacher here at Country Dawn because I attended as a young child. After that, I moved to Denver, Guatemala, Olympia, Omak and finally moved back to Snohomish. I graduated from Snohomish High School in 2015 and started school at Everett Community College. In 2017, I transferred to Western Washington University at Everett to attain my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I also have a major in Special Education. I graduated in March of 2020.
I started working at Country Dawn in 2015. I began as an assistant in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom, then moved to Pre-Toddlers and became a substitute while I finished my schooling. I have subbed in every room, which has allowed me to get to know most of the kids. I am excited to begin my teaching career here at Country Dawn. I am certified in CPR, First Aid and Blood Bourne Pathogens. I have completed the STARS 30-hour training as well as trainings including Autism Awareness and Understanding Challenging Behaviors.
When I am not at Country Dawn, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, painting, dancing, and traveling. I am looking forward to this year and watching your child learn and grow. If you have any comments or concerns, please let me know.
