Preschool Program: Ms. Jessie
My name is Jessica Daily and I am pleased to be the lead teacher in our full day Preschool program. It’s going to be fun watching your child learn and grow throughout the year.
Here’s a little about myself; I have a husband Kris and two beautiful children Sadie and John, both attend Country Dawn. I was born and raised in Washington State. I graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 2014. I started working at Country Dawn in 2015 with a position as closing staff in the Pre-Preschool classroom. Next I worked in Pre-Toddlers and Preschool as an assistant teacher. I then moved up to the lead teacher position for Pre-Preschool and taught Pre-Preschool for two years. I am excited to start this new adventure as the lead Preschool teacher. I enjoy being a part of their development growth and watching them become comfortable in their personalities.
Since I started working at Country Dawn I have completed 30 hours of the Washington STARS training program, learning child health, growth, development and guidance. I plan on continuing with my STARS classes and I have completed my Child Development Associate (CDA) program, at the Bellingham Technical College. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
I look forward to this year in Preschool, getting to know you and your child better.
Preschool Program: Ms. Sarah
My name is Sarah Bliven and I will be working with your child as the lead teacher for the Preschool #2 Program! I am excited to help your child grow, learn and change throughout the year.
I grew up in Lake Stevens and began my schooling here at Country Dawn! After I graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 2011, I went on to study at Everett Community College and quickly transferred to The University of Washington. In 2016 I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Studies and a minor in Education. My Health Studies Degree focused on families in communities, support for families in particularly difficult situations, and child welfare, which led me to a position with a local non-profit as a Family Support Supervisor.
While in college I worked at Country Dawn from 2015-2016 in the Older Toddler's Program, and took a brief leave of absence to finish up my schooling. In fall of 2017, I returned as an Assistant Teacher in the Pre-Toddler Program. I transitioned to the lead Toddler teacher in January 2018. I have completed my certification in CPR, First Aid and HIV/AIDS. I also have completed the STARS 30 hours training and various trainings including Autism Awareness, Positive Discipline and Building Strong Child Relationships. I am also in the process of obtaining a Masters Degree in Elementary Education through WGU.
When I am not at Country Dawn I enjoy being outdoors, crafting, traveling and quality family time. I am looking forward to enjoying this season of life with you and your family! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!
