Pre-Kindergarten Program: Ms. Becky
Welcome to the Pre-Kindergarten Program. My name is Becky Hall and I am excited to be teaching your children. I have been working here at Country Dawn since 1997, and I enjoy every minute of it. I love this age group and I am happy to be working with your children.
I am looking forward to meeting each of you, but first let me tell you a little about myself. I live in Lake Stevens with my two wonderful boys, Ethan and Chris. I love watching them grow and change. I enjoy gardening, watching movies and spending time outside with my family and friends.
Let me tell you a little about my background. I graduated from Everett High School in 1997 and then continued my education at Everett Community College. I have an Associates Degree in Arts and Science from Everett Community College. I completed the Washington STARS training program, and I have also taken many more childcare classes offered through Country Dawn, the WSU Extension Program, Volunteers of America and the Snohomish County Association for the Education of Young Children. I am also certified in CPR, AED and First Aid.
During the next several weeks students will be getting to know each other, their new schedule, classroom and playground. Students will also be practicing various social skills such as using good manners and working together as a team. Students will be learning their shapes and colors in depth, as well as practicing fine motor skills by cutting, gluing and learning to use a pencil properly.
I look forward to a great year and many more to come. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to talk with me or email me at email@example.com.
Pre-Kindergarten Program: Ms. Erika
Hello and welcome to the Pre-Kindergarten Program at Country Dawn. My name is Erika Barajas and I will be your child's teacher starting this fall. I am looking forward to this new school year filled with excitement.
Let me tell you a little about myself for those of you who do not already know me. This is my third year teaching Pre-Kindergarten. I began to work with the Pre-Kindergarten program when I first started working at Country Dawn back in 2012, then began my career as an Early Childhood education teacher later in 2015. I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy sports, singing and doing community service at church events.
I graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 2012. I am currently attending Everett Community College, for my Associates in Technical Arts in Early Childhood Education, and my certificates as well. I have worked at Country Dawn for 4 years, and have completed my 20 hours STARS training. I am also certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid. While attending Everett Community I will be taking a sort of different types of classes to get to know your children better, such as Child Development, Guiding Behavior, Language and Literacy Development, and many more.
During the first few weeks of class the children and us will be working on getting to know each other and their new schedule. A few of the things that we will be working on with your children is their social and emotional development along with solving problems and getting ready for Kindergarten. Students will also be practicing their fine motor skills by cutting, pasting, and learning how to use a pencil properly, along with learning their shapes and colors more in depth. These are just some things we will be working on this year.
I look forward to a great school year with your children. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to talk to me or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
