Pre-Toddler & Toddlers
Pre-Toddler Program: Ms. Rose
Welcome to Pre-Toddlers! My name is Rose and I would like to tell you a little about myself, to get to know me better. I have worked at Country Dawn for almost nine years. The first three years I worked part-time in Pre-Kindergarten and subbed in other classrooms. Now it will be six years working in PreToddlers and was given the opportunity to be the lead teacher three years ago.
I have completed 20 hours of STARS Merit training, CPR/First Aid Training, HIV/AIDS blood born pathogens class. I will also continue to take classes that are offered throughout the year.
I’m fluent in Spanish, which I plan to teach the children colors and numbers in Spanish for example. My goal is caring for your child and to create a fun, safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
We are looking forward to getting to know you and your child. Listed below are a few essential tips, hints and reminders that will help us all have a smooth transition when coming to school.
Toddler Program: Ms. Sarah
My name is Sarah Bliven and I will be working with your child as the lead teacher for the Toddler Program! I am excited to help your child grow, learn and change throughout the year.
I grew up in Lake Stevens and began my schooling here at Country Dawn! After I graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 2011, I went on to study at Everett Community College and quickly transferred to The University of Washington. In 2016 I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Studies and a minor in Education. My Health Studies Degree focused on families in communities, support for families in particularly difficult situations, and child welfare, which led me to a position with a local non-profit as a Family Support Supervisor.
While in college I worked at Country Dawn from 2015-2016 in the Older Toddler's Program, and took a brief leave of absence to finish up my schooling. In fall of 2017, I returned as an Assistant Teacher in the Pre-Toddler Program. I have completed my certification in CPR, First Aid and HIV/AIDS.
When I am not at Country Dawn I enjoy being outdoors, crafting, traveling and quality family time. I am looking forward to enjoying this season of life with you and your family! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!
